Pancyprian Photographic Competition - Lemesia 2022

The competition is organized by the Municipality of Limassol, in cooperation with the Cyprus Photographic Society (Limassol Branch), within the framework of LEMESIA 2022 

Under the motto “We are Sports”, Limassol Municipality, will host the 22nd event of the institution of “Lemesia”. The top Sports Events of Lemesia 2022, take place, from March to November 2022. It is worth mentioning that, in these sports activities, athletes, but also people of all ages as well as groups, can participate.

For the competition we would like to see photographs taken at these sports events. Entrants can submit photos, following a thematic, i.e. ‘Lemesia (General)’, photos of a general interest of the events, ‘Lemesia (Emotions)’, photos depicting the emotions of the athletes, such as happiness, sadness, excitement, disappointment etc and ’Lemesia (Action)’, photos depicting the effort and the action of the athletes during the games.

On the Participation form, the entrants should mark in which theme, of the three above, they submit each photo.

There will be given three (3) awards and six (6) honourable mentions, i.e. three in the theme «Emotions» and three in the theme «Action».

The first prize will receive €200, the second €150 and the third €100. For the prizes and for the honourable mentions, a distinction diploma will be given.
