ArtCargo Festival 2025

From 1–15 November 2025, ArtCargo Festival lands in Limassol—bringing a wave of theatre, dance, new circus, and street performance that blurs the line between art and everyday city life.

A sea promenade transfers into an open-air spectacle. A square rewires itself into a live experiment. The public turns from a passer-by to a creative participant who is invited to reimagine the public space.

Across two weeks, ArtCargo will activate Limassol’s public spaces—from the Molos promenade and Old Town to historical squares and the hidden corners of the Marina. The city becomes a platform for collision: between artists and citizens, movement and architecture, the city's past and present.

The programme, to be shared in September, brings together over 25 performances by 12 international artists, alongside installations, media art, and urban interventions. Reflecting the festival’s mission that art belongs everywhere, most of ArtCargo’s programme is language-free and with minimal age restrictions. Outdoor events are free and open to all, though some require registration, while all indoor performances are ticketed.

ArtCargo is more than a stage—it’s also a laboratory, a platform and a new meeting point for the city's cultural creative future. From September to November, ArtCargo organises presentations and educational workshops about performing arts, urbanism and creativity, to foster dialogue and cultural exchange among citizens and diverse communities of Limassol.
