Christodoulos Sozos Bust Unveiled

On 4 March 2018, the ceremony of the unveiling of the bust of the late Balkan War Hero and Mayor of Limassol, Christodoulos Sozos, took place in the Municipality of Ambelokipi in Thessaloniki.  

The main speaker of the event was the Mayor of Limassol, who spoke about the life and work of the late Mayor of Limassol, Christodoulos Sozos. Mr. Nicolaides mentioned that Christodoulos Sozos, while being an active Mayor, abandoned the office, left behind him a woman and a child and ranked as a simple volunteer in the Greek army, since for him this was the greatest glory and honour. He further emphasized that as a Mayor, he served his city with love and unwavering dedication, leaving behind him works that defined the city’s character and contributed to the development of Limassol.
