In view of the 10 year anniversary of their death, The Municipal council of Limassol decided to honour the 13 heroes who lost their lives at the lethal explosion at Mari

At a meeting on the 3^rd of June 2021, Limassol’s Municipal Council unanimously decided to honor the thirteen heroes of the lethal explosion of Mari, on the occasion of the 10 year anniversary of their death. The tribute of honour will be done through naming municipal infrastructures (parks, squares, streets, etc) in honour of the heroes. Within the framework of this decision the small open theatre on the embankment will be named “Theatre of the Heroes Christos and Miltos Christoforou”
