Limassol Municipality Student Councils meeting successfully held on 3 & 4 April 2019

The Limassol Municipality Health and Environment Committee organised for the 21st time the Limassol Municipality Student Councils meeting aiming at raising students' awareness on environmental issues and the Municipality in general.

During the event, students of schools within city limits, following the election of a "Mayor", "Deputy Mayor" and "Council" met at the Town Hall and presented their ideas on issues relating to the Municipality before the president, secretary and members of the Health and Environment Committee of the Municipal Council, as well as teachers.

This institution encourages youngsters to take an interest in our city, identify problems that need to be addressed such as environmental pollution, energy saving, cleanliness, high-rise buildings, traffic, recycling etc., come up with solutions and actively engage in an effective problem-solving process.
