Τhe ’Organisation for the European Capital of Culture – Limassol 2030 candidate city’ is seeking to recruit a qualified applicant to fulfil the position of ‘Artistic Director’

In preparation to bid for the title of the “European Capital of Culture 2030”, the ’Organisation for the European Capital of Culture – Limassol 2030 candidate city’ is seeking to recruit a qualified applicant to fulfil the position of ‘Artistic Director’.

The Organisation is responsible for designing and creating the bid book of Limassol during the first and second stage of the bid, as well as for implementing and managing the project in case the candidate city succeeds in earning the title.

Specifically, the Artistic Director will aim at developing and determining the Organisation’s strategic planning for the “pre-selection stage”, as well as for the “final selection stage”, depending on the results, taking into account the relevant criteria set by the European Commission, which focus on European co-operation, interdisciplinarity (i.e. collaborations between different cultural forms), citizens’ participation, involvement and engagement, sustainability of the candidacy and its projects while emphasising on the efficiency of the delivery schemes.

All applications must be submitted in the Greek language.
