Parking Instructions in view of Carnival Events

The Limassol Municipality kindly requests drivers:

Not to park their vehicles on Anexartisias, Ayiou Andreou, Karaiskaki, Stasinou and A. Droushioti streets, as well as around Heroes’ Square as to not obstruct the entrance of the Queens of Carnival, their float and entourage, on Thursday, 28 February 2019, from 9.00am - 8.00pm.  

Drivers are requested to use all municipal parking spaces on the coastal front and other public or private parking lots that are not located along the above route.

On Sunday, 3 March 2019, from 6:00am - 4:00pm, drivers are requested not to park in the parking spaces located along the coastal road on the east of Anexartisias str. and next to the cafeterias Red, Nero and Thalassaki.

Drivers can use  free of charge all other public parking spaces, the Panos Solomonides parking space and all adjacent parking lots.

On Sunday, 10 March 2019 from 6:00am - 10:00pm, drivers are requested not to park their vehicles on Archbishop Makarios III’s Avenue, from Enaerios traffic lights to Symillidis traffic lights, so that all Carnival floats and Carnivalists can easily proceed to the line-up of the Grand Carnival Parade.

Drivers are advised to comply with traffic signs as well as with the instructions of Police and Traffic Wardens and when possible to use alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience.
