Action Plan to address the mosquito issue

On Monday 07/05/2018, at 11:30a.m., ten special “Mosquito magnet” traps were delivered during a ceremony held at the offices of the Municipality’s Health Services at Zakaki. The traps will be installed in various parts of the eucalyptus forest of western Limassol, near the Akrotiri salt lake to reduce the nuisance in the area, a result of the increased mosquito population during the months when the temperature rises.  

The machines are sponsored by The Cyprus Phassouri (Zakaki) LTD and Lanitis Golf Public Company LTD.
