Pancyprian Tennis Tournament marks the beginning of 21st Lemesia Festival

The 21^st Lemesia Festival, which promotes the message “We are sports”, kicks off with an exciting tennis tournament, as the events of this year’s festival coincide with the award of the title “European City of Sport 2020” to Limassol.

The Pancyprian Tennis Championship “Famagusta Tennis Club & Lemesia Pancyprian Tournament Grade 1 2020”, organised by the Famagusta Tennis Club, will take place at the Club’s courts in Limassol from 19 to 27 June 2020.

The Championship includes the categories of Men, Women, Boys and Girls under 12, 14, 16 and 18 years of age, singles and doubles, as well as the Mixed Doubles 35+ category.  The matches will start daily at 15:00, while during they weekends, morning and afternoon matches will be held.

The “battle for the tennis ball” will take place without the presence of fans, while the catering areas of the Group will be open to the public, according to the provisions and measures in force for Covid-19.
