Limassol Mayor meets with primary school students

A special meeting was held on Wednesday, 25 November at the 26^th Primary School of Panayia Tricherousa during the Mayor’s visit to the school. In front of an audience that consisted exclusively of fifth graders, he discussed issues relating to and concerning Limassol and then answered the students’ questions, thus living a one-of-a-kind experience.

The Mayor was welcomed by the school’s headmistress, Niki Mikellidou, thanking him for his immediate response to the school’s invitation, emphasising that this was an initiative taken by the students who, to note, had informed the Mayor in advance about the issues that troubled them and for which they wished to receive more information.

Specifically, the Mayor, with the help of a slide show, referred to the development projects in the city that have been implemented or are in the process of implementation and finally, made special reference to the environment and its importance in the lives of citizens.
