Limassol Municipality summer cultural events

The Limassol Municipality announces that due to the restrictive measures imposed as a consequence of the pandemic, this year’s summer events have been affected as follows:

1.      All “Flood Festival” celebrations are cancelled.

2.      The Euro-Mediterranean Festival of Folklore Dances has been postponed and will be held sometime between the end of July – beginning of August.  

3.      The “Great Ballets” event is postponed and will take place on dates that will be announced soon.  

4.      The Wine Festival will be normally held on dates that will be announced soon.

It is noted that based on the restrictive measures recently announced by the government, Municipal museums and cultural centres will reopen as follows:

1.      Marios Tokas Municipal Garden Theatre will reopen on 9 June

2.      Open-air theatres at the multifunctional seaside park, at Aristides Koudounaris park and at Filellinon street park will reopen on 9 June

3.      Pattihio Municipal Theatre will reopen on 14 July

4.      Panos Solomonides Cultural Centre will reopen on 14 July

5.      Municipal Centre of Arts – Papadakis Warehouses will reopen on 14 July

6.      B’ Municipal Market Theatre will reopen on 14 July

It should be noted that all regulations and measures announced by the competent Ministries will apply when it comes to all cultural events.
