Second batch of food shipped to Lebanon

The Limassol Municipality’s Social Market announces that a second batch of food donations was shipped to Beirut on Thursday 27.8.2020. The batch consisted of 38 pallets of food items which were collected following the Municipality’s call for dry and canned food in an effort to show our solidarity to the suffering people of Lebanon. It is reminded that this support campaign took place in the context of a Pancyprian campaign initiated by the Commissioner of Volunteerism.

The response to the call has exceeded all expectations and the Limassol Municipality expresses its gratitude to the citizens, companies, volunteers, the army and all those who contributed in any way to the success of this food bank.
