Announcement for meeting at the Municipality of Limassol regarding the awarding procedure for the development of a real estate property owned by the Municipality located at the Enaerios area, in the form of Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (“D.B.F.O.T”).

The Municipality of Limassol invites to a meeting on 25 February 2019, the interested parties in connection to the development of the Municipality’s real estate property located at the Enaerios area in the form of D.B.F.O.T (“the Project”) in order to present the envisaged development as well as the award procedure with the purpose of exchanging views.

It is noted that the attendance of the interested parties at this meeting will be confirmed through receiving of an addressed invitation sent in advance, which will be accompanied by a brief description of the investment (Teaser).

The invitation will be sent to the interested parties or their representatives after they have expressed their interest and once it is confirmed that they meet the criteria by sending to the consultants of the Municipality of Limassol, the information described below until 11 February 2019:

1. A brief description of the Company, its activities and operations.

2. Financial criteria:

  1. Revenue from the last three financial years should exceed €30.000.000, and
  2. Net Assets (i.e. Total Assets less Total Liabilities) should exceed €20.000.000 in the last financial year.

The aforementioned financial criteria will be considered following the completion and provision of the following table, which should be accompanied by a statement confirming the accuracy of the information, certified by the Company’s auditors.

3. Criteria in relation to the Company’s experience in similar projects:

  1. Description of similar projects in connection to the development and sale, rental or operation of real estate developments with buildable areas exceeding 5.000m2, and
  2. Submission of supporting evidence in connection to the aforementioned, signed by an authorised member of the Board of Directors of the Company.
  3. Name of the authorized member (s) of the Company that will represent the company at the meeting accompanied by a copy of the identity card, the relevant certificate from the Companies Registrar's Office and the relevant authorization letter by the Company's Board of Directors.

After the meeting with the interested parties, the Limassol Municipality will evaluate their views and will proceed with a revised proposed development and conduct a public consultation in order to provide information about the Project as well as the awarding procedures to the interested party through organized meetings with the public. The comments from the meeting with the interested parties as well as from the public consultation will be evaluated and the Municipality of Limassol will finalize the proposed development and complete the tender documents in order to accelerate the processes for the development of the real estate property in Enaerios area.
