It has been observed, on several occasions, that citizens dispose of their waste, as well as recyclable materials on the wrong waste collection hours and days, resulting in cartons being carried away by the wind in the streets and causing road accidents and floods as a consequence of storm drains getting clogged.

Therefore, the public is requested to dispose of waste on the appropriate collection days.  

Furthermore, cartons must be emptied, flattened, tied in bundles and discarded just before the time of collection.
