Announcement to all businessmen, traders and merchants

During festive periods, the Municipal Services make every effort to keep the city as clean as possible, despite the increased volume of waste, pedestrians and vehicles.

At the same time, the Municipality urges all businessmen, traders and merchants to help achieve this goal by:

i.        Not placing carton boxes in stacks in front of stores. Carton boxes should be folded and tied.

ii.        Packing materials, paper, polystyrene and other similar items easily dispersed by the wind should be placed into securely tied plastic bags of appropriate thickness and firmness.

iii.        Not dumping and not letting others dump their waste in the small waste bins located along the road. These are intended for pedestrians only.

iv.        Not placing waste in small plastic bags that are not made for this purpose. Their contents are easily dispersed by the wind or by stray animals or blown away and consequently smashed by cars, leading to chaos.
