Announcement - Property Tax Payment

The Limassol Municipality would like to inform the public that Property Tax Bills for 2018 have already been sent out and are payable by 28 September 2018. The bills also indicate possible late payments pending from previous years. A 10% surcharge will be imposed on any outstanding balance after the designated deadline.

On the basis of articles 73 to 79 of the Municipalities Law 111/ 1985, the Limassol Municipality imposes a Municipal Property Tax of 0.24‰ on the value of the immovable property, which resulted from the general valuation made based on Article 69 of the Immovable Property (Tenure, Registration and Valuation) Law.

Payments can be made at our Tax Department offices (Arch. Kyprianou str. – next to the Town Hall), at all commercial banks, as well as online at www.limassolmunicipal.com.cy and  www.jccsmart.com.

All citizens that have not yet received a notice to pay are kindly requested to present themselves at our Tax Department offices at the above mentioned address and inform the Municipality of any possible changes to their mailing address.
