Report on the European Affairs Committee’s work

A press conference was held on Wednesday, 09/05/2018 by the European Affairs Office and Committee of the Municipality of Limassol aiming to inform and report on the work carried out since 2017.

 The European Programs undertaken by the Limassol Municipality, along with the various actions to be implemented in 2018 were presented. It was stressed that efforts are being made to claim additional funds through the EU Competitive Programs with particular emphasis given on the ones set by the European Union as a priority.

The Limassol Municipality managed to implement through various EU Structural Funds, important infrastructure projects worth tenths of millions of Euros, thus reconstructing our city centre. New important development projects are expected to be implemented with the current 2014-2020 programming period in the western districts of the urban centre.
