People’s Choice Award for best Group/ Float in 2019 Limassol Carnival Parade

The Limassol Municipality, within the framework of this year’s Carnival, announces that the votes are in and the people have spoken.

The competition was conducted during the Limassol Carnival with the support of Cyta and aimed at showcasing and rewarding the top three parade entries based on people’s choice. The competition was held from Wednesday, 6 March 2019 until Sunday, 10 March 2019 at midnight. The people who voted entered a draw to win two return tickets to Athens.

After counting the votes with the help of Cyta, the most popular groups/ floats that had not violated the Limassol Municipality regulations for the Carnival Parade are as follows:   

1^o Prize €1.000          n^o 29 => Chocoland

2^ο Prize €600             n^o 64 => Odyssey

3^ο Prize €400             n^o 62 => O Teliouas

The winner of the airline ticket giveaway is Ms Nicoletta Eleftheriou from Limassol.  

The award ceremony will be held in the following days at the Town Hall.
