Limassol Municipality seeks land for new Cemetery

The Limassol Municipality, acting on behalf of all the Municipalities in the broader area of Limassol, announces the following –

Taking into consideration that the Ayios Athanasios cemetery, also known as the Sfalangiotissa cemetery, is near capacity, we are seeking land suitable for a cemetery, located in the broader area of Limassol, to serve all Limassol Municipalities.

The plots will be evaluated based on their location, potential need for other infrastructure such as accessibility, power and water supply and should be of at least 150,000sqm. .

Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of the criteria mentioned above, namely location, morphological structure, need for infrastructure, existing road network, soil chemical suitability, cost and other criteria set by the Legislation. 

The Municipalities will assess the proposals and are not obliged to accept the lowest bid or any other offer/ proposal.
