UNIFIL’s German contingent supports the work of the Social Market

A UNIFIL’s German contingent delegation, under Commander Brix, donated to the Social Market the sum of one thousand three hundred and thirty five Euros (€1.335) during a meeting held, in the presence of the Mayor, on Wednesday, 9.1.2019 at the Town Hall.

The Mayor expressed his gratitude to the UNIFIL’s German contingent for this commendable act and for demonstrating high levels of social sensitivity, while significantly contributing to the work and activities of the Municipality Social Market.

The German contingent of UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) has been based in the Port of Limassol since 2006.
