European Mobility Week: 16-22 September 2020

The Municipality of Limassol, in the context of this year’s European Mobility Week on “Zero-emission mobility for all” and in view of the restrictive measures imposed by the Ministry of Health for the organisation of events due to the pandemic of Covid-19, focuses on biking as an alternative mode of transportation around the city, the benefits deriving from the use of bicycles and the cultivation of a bicycle-friendly culture.

Free bicycles will be provided to Limassol citizens who would like to tour the city for one hour between 16 and 22 September 2020 in cooperation with the company nextbike.

Those who wish to benefit from this service can download the nextbike app or visit the company’s website at www.nextbike.com.cy, to submit the code Lemesos20 in order to secure their place.

In the meanwhile, The Mayor of Limassol will ride his bicycle to the Town Hall for the whole European Mobility Week.
