Limassol congratulates Milan Trajkovic for first-ever gold in European Athletics Indoor Championships

Both Limassol and the entire Cyprus are proud of Milan Trajkovic, who has been a permanent citizen of Limassol since the age of 9 and who managed yesterday to make Europe talk about our country. Trajkovic won the gold medal in the 60 metres hurdles at the European Athletics Indoor Championships, clocking 7.60.

The Mayor and the Municipal Council congratulate our champion, for this enormous success, as well as his coach Antonis Giannoulakis, the GSO Sports Association of Limassol and the Cyprus Amateur Athletic Association.

We wish Milan good luck and hope he meets with even greater success and keeps building on his already successful run. He is a concrete example to our young athletes that with patience, perseverance and will, they can reach the top and make their dreams come true.
