Social interventions in Schools

The event on “Social Interventions in Schools” was successfully held on Tuesday, 19 June at the premises of the Pattichion Municipal Historical Archive within the framework of the implementation of the “Social Work on the Road” program actions.   

In his speech, the Mayor praised the importance of the social programs of the Limassol Municipality and the provision of social assistance services to citizens and especially to young people. He further stressed that investing in children and young people, as well as meeting their psychosocial and emotional needs is a key pillar for early detection and prevention of modern social problems.

The Limassol Municipality cooperated, cooperates and will be cooperating with social bodies in every possible way as to achieve the continuous improvement of the social programs for the benefit of children in need.

The importance of the school social worker interventions and social interventions contributing to the development of the children’s skills in general was highlighted in the findings of the discussion.
