Municipal services to reopen on 4 May 2020 (limited public access)

The Limassol Municipality, following previous relevant announcements and in line with the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the relevant instructions of the competent Ministries, informs the public about the implementation of the following arrangements as of Monday, 4 May 2020.

1.     All municipal services (including Cash Desk) will operate as normal. Parks (including those along the coastal front), playgrounds, the Public Garden, theatres, museums and cultural venues are to remain closed. Access to pedestrian streets and paved paths within parks is allowed only for physical activity (up to 2 people).

2.     Restrictions are imposed on persons entering or remaining in the Municipal premises. Only a limited number of people will be allowed in the offices of the Municipality at one time. Visitors must wear a face mask, disinfect their hands when entering the offices and comply with the relevant instructions.

3.     In order to avoid inconvenience and delay, the public is invited to limit their visits to the offices of the Municipality to the strictly necessary. The public is invited to use the Municipality’s online services (website) or phone services (call centre - tel.: 77777788).

4.     You can submit applications and obtain permits by the Technical Department following a relevant telephone consultation at the following numbers:

5.     All Municipal parking spaces will be open to the public on a daily basis.

6.     The market on Lella Karayianni street will resume operations on the basis of regulations and safety measures that will be announced in the next few days.

The Limassol Municipality invites citizens to continue to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, be patient and comply with the instructions and decisions of the Authorities so that we can go back to normal.
