“Stay home with PATTIHIO”

Limassol Municipality and Pattihio Theatre offer entertainment from home with the help of artists

The Limassol Municipality actively supports the motto “Stay home” with a social and cultural intervention, which serves a dual purpose. With the help of digital technology, the Municipality offers the public a cultural escape during this difficult time, while offering at the same time work to Limassol artists.

In April, the theatre will be hosting artists who do not have any income due to the measures implemented to contain the spread of the pandemic.

The program includes performances by one, two or three artists at a time from the fields of music, theatre and dance. The audience can watch the live streamed performances from Pattihio Theatre’s YouTube channel as well as on its other social media sites.

The first performances are scheduled as follows:

• Saturday, 4 April, 7.00pm: Jazz Trio – Giorgos Morphitis/ piano, Stelios Xydias/ drums, Andreas Rodosthenous/ bass
• Sunday, 5 April, 7.00pm: Stephanos Georgiades/ guitar & vocals

This valuable effort is supported by the theatre’s technical team who will be providing professional services when it comes to sounds and lights to those who will take the stage.
