Cooperation agreement between Limassol Municipality and Panteion University

The Limassol Municipality and the Panteion University of Athens signed an agreement on 11 July 2019 at the Limassol Town Hall to promote scientific, educational, cultural and other cooperation.

The agreement was signed by the Mayor of the Limassol Municipality, Mr Nicos Nicolaides and the Rector of the Panteion University of Athens, Ms Ismini Kriari. The agreement constitutes a very important step in establishing a relationship between the two institutions and the joint effort for mutual understanding and promotion of scientific, education and cultural cooperation. The agreement provides for the following:

•         Joint cultural, scientific, educational events and activities

•         Advisory scientific services and studies

•         Joint participation in research and development programs (European – National – International)

•         Student work placements

•         Exchange of information and know-how on issues of common interest

The planned activities and their outcome will be communicated to the public by means of publications, conferences, websites etc.

A Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific Cooperation was signed on the same day, between the Panteion University and the Pattichion Municipal Museum – Historical Archive – Limassol Studies Centre.
