Meeting with the city centre residents

The Mayor of Limassol, Mr Nicos Nicolaides, met with representatives of the city centre residents on Tuesday, 12 September 2018 at the Town Hall. The residents informed the Mayor of the nuisance problems arising from leisure centres, the lack of cleanliness of the wider centre area and the difficulties they encounter when it comes to car parking, mentioning at the same time their suggestions.

The meeting was also attended by Limassol Municipality Officials who expressed their opinion on the matters, while informing the citizens of the actions taken by the Municipality Services to address the problems.

The Mayor of Limassol assured the representatives that the Municipality is ramping up its efforts and actions to address the nuisance problems and oblige all those breaking the law to comply with it.  At the same time, he invited the residents to cooperate closely with the services of the Municipality as to better identify and efficiently address any problems.
