Webinar: Blue Limassol Forum 2020 “Sustainable Coastal, Marine & Maritime Environment”

Limassol Municipality and Frederick University Department of Maritime Transport and Commerce jointly organize the Webinar: Blue Limassol Forum 2020 “Sustainable Coastal, Marine & Maritime Environment”, which will take place online on Friday, May 29 at 17:30. The event is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nicos Anastasiades.

Blue Limassol Forum is an annual event, established in 2020 by the Mayor of Limassol, Mr Nicos Nicolaides. The Forum aims to air key issues and initiatives directly linked to the Blue Economy, capitalizing upon Limassol's unique characteristics as a leading commercial and shipping centre and a major coastal port city in the SE Mediterranean, as well as promoting maritime and environmental awareness amongst local citizens. This year’s Forum will focus on topics relevant to “Sustainable Coastal, Marine & Maritime Environment”. Invited speakers and participants will discuss initiatives already in place and share examples of good practice to stimulate further dialogue and action demonstrating collaborative environmental leadership and promoting wellbeing in Limassol, our Blue City.

The webinar is free and open to the public. It will be conducted in English. Participants should pre-register here and will be able to raise questions during the panel discussion.
