Training Course in “Intercultural Policing”

The Municipality of Limassol and its Intercultural Council, in collaboration with the Council of Europe and Cyprus Police, invite you to the Training Course “Intercultural Policing” taking place between 13 to 15 November 2018. This three-day program is part of the activities of the Limassol Intercultural Strategy 2018-2020.

During the course, around 25 Police Officers and representatives of civil and migrants communities leaving in Limassol, as well as other social stakeholders will have a chance to participate in workshops held by four experts from the Municipal Police of Lisbon (Portugal), Madrid and Fuenlabrada (Spain), who will present the best practices and innovative methods of Intercultural Policing in their respective cities.

The training course is a part of the activities implemented within the project ‘Limassol: one city, the whole world’, integration programmes by local authorities co-funded by the European Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund and the Republic of Cyprus. The course is also substantially funded by the Council of Europe.
